Ugandan singer Mudra D Viral shares his journey from ghetto to stardom, cherishing simpler times

Singer and songwriter Mudra opened up about his journey from humble beginnings to stardom. Despite his success, Mudra revealed a sense of admiration for his past life before fame consumed his every moment.

Growing up in the streets of the ghetto, Mudra faced numerous challenges, including limited access to quality education.

His dreams of attending university seemed distant, but his passion for music burned bright within him. Despite his talent, breaking into the music industry proved to be an uphill battle.

Initially, Mudra found his calling in songwriting, pouring his heart and soul into crafting lyrics that were appreciated by others. However, despite his efforts, recognition and financial stability remained not enough.

His contributions to songs by renowned artists like Karole Kasita and Cindy Sanyu often went unnoticed, leaving him longing for acknowledgment.

Despite the setbacks, Mudra’s determination never wavered. Transitioning from behind the scenes to the spotlight, he took a leap of faith and began pursuing his career as a solo artist.

Utilizing the social capital garnered from his songwriting endeavors, Mudra quickly gained traction in the music scene.

Today, Mudra D Viral stands as one of Uganda’s most promising male musicians. However, amidst the glitz and glamour of fame, Mudra finds himself yearning for the simplicity of days gone by. The freedom to live life on his terms, unrestricted by the demands of his fast-rising career, is a luxury he now craves.

In a reflective moment, Mudra acknowledges the blessings bestowed upon him by Allah, recognizing the value of his past experiences. While grateful for his current success, he remains grounded, cherishing the memories of a time when life was simpler, and dreams were within reach.

Sometimes I miss my past. However hard it was. Coz now we seem to be busy n lost into the search for a better future. We don’t even know what it holds. I miss my early days❤️❤️❤️. Grateful for the time Ya Allah 🤲🏾🤲🏾
