Uganda police expose fake wanted poster targeting artist Angella Katatumba

In a recent statement posted on their official social media handles, the Uganda Police Force addressed a circulating wanted poster of Angella Katatumba.

The police clarified that the poster was fake and was created with malicious intent to tarnish the image of the artist.

The statement from the police management emphasized that they have not sanctioned or endorsed the information on the poster. They urged the public to disregard it and treat it with the contempt it deserves.

Angella Katatumba, a talented artist, deserves to have her reputation safeguarded from such malicious attempts.

It’s crucial for the public to be aware of the truth and not be misled by false information.

As the investigation continues, it is hoped that those responsible for creating and spreading the fake wanted poster will be held accountable for their actions as the Uganda Police Force has made it clear that the wanted poster of Angella Katatumba is fake and should be disregarded.

We would like to request the public to disregard a FAKE wanted poster, that was maliciously posted on several digital platforms, to purposely tarnish the image of a one Angella Katatumba.

The perpetrators claim she is wanted by police at Kibuli CID Headquarters.
