Joshua Baraka, the talented artist known for his breakout song “Nana,” recently opened up about the inspiration behind this chart-topping hit.

In a recent chat on the “In My Opinion” podcast, he shared a captivating story that sparked the creation of this memorable track.

According to Baraka, the genesis of “Nana” can be traced back to a night out at a local club. He went out with a friend who was involved in a complex relationship.

As the night unfolded, Baraka witnessed a series of events that later served as the inspiration for his breakthrough song.

During their night out, Baraka’s friend’s side chic joined them at the club. As the evening progressed and the music filled the air, the side chic’s inhibitions began to fade away.

She became increasingly intoxicated and expressed a desire for public displays of affection (PDA) with her boyfriend.

In a surprising twist, Baraka’s friend made it clear that he preferred to keep their relationship private. He was not comfortable with engaging in PDA and instead valued the intimacy of their private moments.

Nana, you already know, when I see you, it’s going down for show. No PDA girl this ain’t for show, what we do nobody gat to know.
