In a recent interview on NTV The Beat, Grenade Official revealed some surprising details about his relationships with fellow musicians Eddy Kenzo and Bobi Wine opening up on the deep connections he shares with these two influential figures in the Ugandan Music Industry.

Grenade described Eddy Kenzo as a good friend, highlighting the bond they have formed over the years. Their friendship has stood the test of time, and it’s clear that Eddy Kenzo holds a special place in Grenade’s life.

However, it was Grenade’s recollection of his past friendship with Bobi Wine that truly caught the attention.

Grenade shared that during his time as a street kid, Bobi Wine extended a helping hand by offering to adopt him and provide him with an education.

Despite Bobi Wine’s generous offer, Grenade made the difficult decision to pursue his passion for music instead of accepting the opportunity for formal education.

Grenade’s desire to pursue his dreams and make a name for himself in the music industry led him to follow a different path.

He offered to adopt me and take good care of me at his home, but I ran away. I didn’t want to go back to school. All I wanted was music.
