Feffe Bussi and Gabie Ntaate's concerts on same weekend: Clash of the gospel and hip hop titans

The first time this very year that we were going to have concerts happen on the same weekend. One was canceled if you all recall very well.

That was during the second last weekend in January when Fik Famecia and David Lutalo found themselves clashing as they both had concerts in Kampala just a day following another.

Tension arose as Fik Fameica and David Lutalo traded words with the former accusing the latter of sabotage but somehow, they met and ironed out their differences and ended up each recording a concert drop for one another.

With just like 48 hours left to their shows, David Lutalo chickened out and called off his concert which had been slated to happen at Kampala Serena Hotel on the ground that the venue he had booked was being used by government duties to host NAM delegates.

Another similar scenario is just in the offing as former gossip TV presenter-turned-gospel artist Gabie Ntaate and Feffe Bussi will be holding concerts on the same weekend.

Going by Gabie Ntaate’s artwork that she has so far shared on her socials, her concert dubbed “Cheza For Yesu” will be happening on 17th May at Kampala Sheraton Hotel.

Meanwhile, Feffe Bussi will also be holding his first concert on the 18th of May as he recently announced while performing at the Nkumba Trade Bazar.

He rallied his fans to show him some love and support on that day.

The only difference is that he has yet to confirm the venue and gate tax that he would be charging those who will turn up something that Gabie Ntaate has already set.

While doing his freestyle set at NkumbaTradeBazar, Feffe Bussi promised those who would turn up that Karole Kasita and her baby “King” would be present on the night, sparking wild cheers from the revelers.
