Balaam Barugahara appointed Minister of State for Gender, Labour and Social Development in Uganda

In exciting news tonight, Balaam Barugahara, known for his role in promoting events and his strong support for the National Resistance Movement (NRM) and President Museveni’s son Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba, has been appointed Minister of State for Gender, Labour and Social Development (Youth and Children Affairs).

President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni shared this announcement on social media, generating a lot of reactions from netizens.

Balaam’s appointment is a big step forward for him, given his dedication and hard work supporting the ruling government.

While some might find his appointment surprising, many are cheering him on and wishing him the best in his new role.

Balaam also serves as the National Vice Chair for the Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU) for Western region, a new movement spearheaded by Gen. Muhoozi.
