Friday 15th February 2024 will forever be a special day for Ugandan dancer Valentino Richard Kabenge and his South African lover Donlynn Fischer.
At the Kampala Serena Hotel, Valentino Richard Kabenge, a prominent Ugandan figure in the Latin and ballroom dance community, proposed to Donlynn Fischer last night.
In a video spotted by this website, the Dance With Valentino and Val Rich Arts Limited CEO went down on one knee and asked Fischer to be his wife.
Valentino and Fischer have been living and spreading the gospel of dance and choreography together since the latter came to Uganda in mid-2023.
Donlynn Fischer – an 11-time South African Latin and Ballroom Dance Champion – came to Uganda in July 2023 on a partnership program with Valentino Kabenge to elevate Uganda’s dance scene.
She has since supported ValRich Arts, Valentino’s Arts Production company, doing their part in raising the standards and profile of dance in Uganda.
Valentino’s reaffirmation of love has been warmly received by the netizens on social media who have since congratulated the couple on their new milestone.
