TikToker Pressure 247's Bail Application Faces Rejection in Court, Likely Return to Prison

The chances of TikToker Ibrahim Musana a.k.a Pressure 247, being granted court bail continue to prove bleak daily.

The update follows Pressure 247’s appearance at the Buganda Road Court for his case hearing and bail application today, which didn’t go well for him.

This is after the government prosecutor Richard Birivumbuka claimed that Pressure 247’s two sureties he presented in court a week back, and himself don’t have permanent residences.

He went ahead to claim that it was not safe to grant Pressure 247 bail, reasoning that the hate speech insults he uttered against the Kabaka of Buganda Ronald Mwenda Mutebi and President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni placed him in danger when granted bail.

He thus noted that keeping him in prison rather than being out of jail is much safer.

Mr. Richard Birivumbuka further suggested that if the court is to grant Pressure 247 bail, he should at least pay a cash bail of Shs 30m and present a land title in his real name.

Based on the conditions set by the government prosecutor to grant Pressure 247 bail, he is most likely to return to Luzira prison until a further date is mentioned for his case hearing.
