Reagan Muhairwe, popularly known as Ray G, announced his much-anticipated Twena Hamwe concert is set to take place on the 10th of May at the Lugogo Cricket Oval.
One of the highlights of the evening revellers can look forward to will be the performance by Swangz Avenue sensation, Azawi, confirming the reconciliation between the two artists after a reported altercation at a previous event in Mbarara.
Despite a heated moment last year at Comedy Store’s show in Mbarara, Ray G and Azawi have patched things up, thanks to the intervention of fellow artist Eddy Kenzo.
According to Ray G, the misunderstanding was swiftly resolved through amicable discussions, paving the way for Azawi to join the lineup of performers at the Twena Hamwe concert.
Ray G’s choice of Lugogo Cricket Oval as the venue for his concert speaks volumes about his vision for the event. Recognizing the venue’s capacity to accommodate a large audience, he aims to ensure that all his fans have the opportunity to be part of this memorable experience.
Moreover, Lugogo Cricket Oval’s reputation for hosting successful concerts adds to the hype of the event, making it the ideal setting for Ray G to showcase his talent.
Azawi and I managed to solve our differences peacefully after we talked. Both of us got to know what the other was meaning. Therefore, she will be one of those performing at my show.
