On Thursday, Zari Hassan shared a video showing her holding hands with her ex-lover and baby daddy Diamond Platnumz, sparking off rumors of their rebound.
The rumors were fuelled further when a video of Zari’s current husband Shakib Cham in a romantic moment with a popular Ugandan deejay identified as Alisha went viral online.
Despite Alisha immediately clearing the air by stating that the video is from old times, netizens have been adding pieces directed toward the narrative that Shakib and Zari could be no more.
Neither Zari nor Shakib had made a statement on the matter despite unfollowing each other on Instagram and removing their recent pics together from the app.
On Friday, Zari Hassan seemed to hint that whatever happened was intentionally done in promotion of Diamond Platnumz’s new music project.
Via Snapchat, the mother of five said, “You must be there talking about how I am crying because I posted a promo video of her children’s father and her husband posted his ex to get even. But it seems you don’t know me.”
Her statements have attracted divergent opinions online with some netizens noting that sh is only backpedaling and the guilt is showing. Others, however, state that it was a smooth stunt that has worked out fine.
