In a recent interview on Galaxy FM, renowned Ugandan music producer Nessim Pan Production addressed rumors about him copying beats from other artists.

With confidence and conviction, he defended his creative abilities and emphasized the importance of respecting his work and name.

During the interview, Nessim acknowledged the presence of copycats within the industry but clarified that he is not one of them. He firmly stated that he is a creative force.

Other producers often draw inspiration from his work, and his dedication to his craft has earned him a reputation as a trendsetter in the Ugandan music scene.

Furthermore, Nessim expressed his frustration with the perception that “everyone thinks they know music” in Uganda. He highlighted the need for people to appreciate the depth and complexity of music production rather than making assumptions or spreading baseless rumors.

Nessim’s commitment to his artistry and desire for his work to be respected was evident throughout the interview.

He also gave an example of DJs who also face the same challenges. He says that however much some creatively push artists’ music and art, there are others always on the lookout to copy what the creatives have done and make it seem like their own work.
