In a revelation while appearing on UBC’s Horizon Vibe, renowned gospel singer Exodus shared his experiences battling suicidal thoughts and the temptation of substance abuse.

The artist disclosed that he found himself at the brink of taking his own life on multiple occasions, recounting the depths of despair he plunged into during his darkest moments.

Exodus recounted the overwhelming challenges he faced, disclosing that he endured a series of hardships that left him feeling utterly alone and misunderstood. Struggling with the weight of his burdens, he felt as though his world was collapsing around him.

The singer painfully revealed that he reached a point where he lost everything he held dear, including the love of his life who departed, leaving him to care for their children alone.

Amidst the suffocating darkness that engulfed him, Exodus found himself contemplating drastic measures, locked inside his house with no one to talk to or reach out for help.

In a heartfelt plea to fellow celebrities and individuals facing similar struggles, Exodus emphasized the importance of speaking out and seeking help during times of distress.

There is a time in my life when I constantly thought about committing suicide but God saved me. I remember I had lost everything I loved including my wife and children. I had nothing left just going to bed and thinking about taking my life. No one could understand what I was going through apart from myself.
