It all started during Vampino’s school days when he found himself in a bit of trouble.
He got suspended from school but decided not to leave. Instead, he hid in the ceiling, staying out of sight during the day and only emerging at night while everyone else was busy with their prep studies.
His friends, who would gather food for him, started referring to him as a “vampire” since he was only seen at night, trying to evade the watchful eyes of the school authorities. The name caught on, and even after school, his friends in the city continued to call him “vampire.”
When Vampino entered the music industry, he decided to embrace his unique nickname and give it a musical twist. He modified it slightly to “Vampos,” creating a catchy and memorable stage name that perfectly captured his persona and style.
