At a few minutes past 7 pm on Friday, the first footage of Nigerian singer Davido at Entebbe International Airport made rounds on social media to confirm his arrival in the +256.
Social media had been awash with uncertainty by music fans who had been awaiting his arrival since Thursday night.
Davido, real name David Adedeji Adeleke, is scheduled to perform at the Kololo Independence Grounds at the concert dubbed #TimelessKampala.
“Yeah, yeah, we’re out here. Kampala, Timeless Concert tonight, boss in the f**kin building. Let’s do it!” Davido said upon arrival with a Ugandan flag wrapped around his neck.
Known for his energetic performances and chart-topping hits, the anticipation on the ground is already at the highest level with revelers flocking into the venue in large numbers.
Davido is expected to drive straight to the Kololo Independence Grounds where curtain-raisers are already performing, with the concert expected to last a little longer than earlier anticipated.
General tickets to the concert are priced at Ugx 150k, VIP tickets at Ugx 250k, and Gold and Platinum table options are available for those looking for an exclusive experience.
The Gold table, which accommodates 8 people, is priced at Ugx 7M, while the Platinum table, also for 8 people, is priced at Ugx 10M. Gather your team and get ready to enjoy the concert in style!
