Cindy Sanyu intends to retire at 50 and comeback at 60 (Watch)

Ugandan music sensation Cindy Sanyu has announced her intention to retire from the music industry at the age of 50.

However, she doesn’t plan on staying away for too long. Cindy intends to take a break and then make a comeback at the age of 60 after rebranding herself.

Her decision to retire from music at 50 shows her desire for growth and reinvention. She says she would use the break to travel around the world, while she explores new creative avenues, and evolves as an artist. During this time, she plans to rebrand herself before she makes the comeback.

For Cindy, music is more than just a career; it’s a true passion. She finds joy in seeing her fans happy and having fun during her performances. Her dedication to her craft and her unwavering commitment to her fans is evident in her desire to continue performing even in her later years.

She aspires to leave a lasting legacy and hopes to follow in the footsteps of legendary artists like Mariam Makeba, who literally died on stage, doing what she loved.

I love making people happy and watching music change their lives. That, for me, is satisfactory. Therefore, I don’t intend to stop doing it. I would love to die on stage like Makeba, who literally died on stage while performing.
