A continuation to their 2017 masterpiece “Adam ne Kaawa, Nubian Li, and Bobi Wine preach about the ever-evolving world and the era of rigid gender roles in their new song “Man & Woman”.
Firebase Crew singers Bobi Wine and Nubian Li hit the studio booth in 2017 and dropped “Adam ne Kaawa” in which they sang about the gender roles in society.
The song not only turned out a banger but also provoked mixed reactions from members of the public some of whom claimed it glorified a man’s dominance over a woman.
Seven years later, the melodious duo is back again with yet another song dubbed “Man & Woman” with a more refined message.
In the new song, the importance of man and woman working together harmoniously is emphasized.
Produced by Sir. Dan Magic, “Man & Woman” also highlights the recognition of each gender’s unique strengths and contributions to daily life and society.
Singer-cum-politician Bobi Wine also sings about equality without confrontation and competition, and how society should be more inclusive, noting how “what a man can do, a woman can do.”
He also sings about how every woman needs a man just like the plan was in the Garden of Eden. The colorful visuals directed by Edrine Paul are quite entertaining. Take a gaze:
