Barbie Kyagulanyi reveals experience sharing space with Peaky Blinders actor Cillian Murphy

Barbie Kyagulanyi had to pretend not to know Peaky Blinders actor Cillian Murphy when they met in Hollywood and he was happy about it.

Bobi Wine’s wife Barbie Itungo Kyagulanyi is enjoying the USA where the couple has been for weeks while on media tours for the former presidential candidate’s documentary being nominated at this year’s Oscars.

The film; ‘Bobi Wine: The People’s President’ – a gripping documentary about the unlikely rise of Bobi Wine, the pop star-turned-politician seeking to end Uganda’s brutal dictatorship – has been shown in different cinemas worldwide.

Its nomination at the Oscars has further exposed Bobi and his wife to the world and they have met some of the global film icons while in Beverly Hills.

Via her Instagram page, Barbie – a former Actress herself – has been sharing photos and experiences whenever she meets some global film stars.

Recently, she treated her followers to photos of herself and Canadian actor Ryan Gosling.

On Friday, she met another celebrated Irish actor and producer, Cillian Murphy who is well known for his outstanding roles in Inception, Batman Begins, A Quiet Place II, Oppenheimer, and Peaky Blinders.

She noted that she had to act like she did not know him and Cillian Murphy liked it, sparking a conversation about climate change, politics, and so much more.

I sat next to Cillian Murphy and pretended not to know him. He was happy to sit next to someone who “did not know” him so we had a long chat about climate change, politics, and the essence of keeping the rural girl child in school.
