Ugandan singer-cum-politician Bobi Wine, real name Robert Kyagulanyi Sentamu, and his wife Barbie Itungo Kyagulanyi turned heads at the British Academy Film Awards 2024 in London.
Held on Sunday 18th February 2024, the 77th British Academy Film Awards, more commonly known as the BAFTAs, recognized outstanding British and foreign films of 2023.
Cillian Murphy was one of the big winners at the awards as he took home the Best Actor award for his role in ‘Oppenheimer’, among other awards. Emma Stone also won Best Actress for her role in ‘Poor Things’.
But a Ugandan power couple stole the show on the red carpet.
Clad in a purple suit and the trademark red beret, Bobi Wine held Barbie Kyagulanyi’s arm as they elegantly walked the red carpet at the Royal Festival Hall.
Barbie’s red dress, always-striking smile, and flawless hair left heads turning as they paused for a photo moment on the red carpet.
The videos of their red carpet moment at the BAFTAs have since gone viral online. This comes just a few days after Barbie’s interaction with Cillian Murphy went viral online.
