Yoyo

Singer Martin Nkoyoyo, alias Yoyo, has shared his thoughts on how the Ugandan music industry is taking shape.

In comparison to the kind of music he used to do with the rest of the artists back then, he notes that today’s style of music has no coordination in its lyrics.

He also believes that in the early 2000s and several years back, artists sang passionately, which is no longer the case today.

Back then, people sang with a lot of passion, but there’s no coordination in the lyrics of today’s songs.

Yoyo

Yoyo was one of the talented vocalists before the likes of Radio, Aziz Azion, and other smooth-voiced artists came into play.

His, however, found himself at the center of paternity controversy when the lady he was dating and sharing the same roof with denied him access to the child he thought belonged to him.

Ever since that saga, Yoyo took a break from music and when he tried to make a comeback, the competition he found did not favor his style of music to reign again.

Just like that, he lost touch and slowly but surely decided to venture his efforts into different other projects.
