Vivian Tendo has become the latest Ugandan entertainer to reveal intentions of contesting for a parliamentary seat in the forthcoming elections.

The likes of Nina Roz, Ziza Bafana, Kalifah Aganaga, and Yung Mulo among others, have already let their fans in on their desire to join active politics in years to come.

Nina Roz, probably the most vocal in that regard, yearns to contest for the Sembabule District Woman MP seat in the 2026 elections and is even willing to pause her music career to achieve that.

Vivian Tendo has also teased about running for the Mityana District Woman Member of Parliament in 2026.

Via Facebook, the singer shared a photo of herself smartly clad in a suit and added the caption, “Mityana Woman MP to be.”

Her revelation has already been backed by her fans who promise to stand for her and support her if she is indeed seriously contesting for the position.
