Joanitah Ansiimire, a trader in Kikuubo, has won Ugx 2.5 million from the UBL Laga Swagga campaign.

 Two other winners; Brian Bujingo, a humanitarian worker from Isingiro, and Ali Kato a shop keeper from Bulenga have received UGX500,000 each from the very first weekly raffle draw.

Hillary Baguma the Brand Manager, Mainstream Spirits while handing over the prizes said that the campaign is a way of appreciating their loyal customers who have supported the for many years.

I am very excited to hand over the Laga Swagga Prizes to the winners. Laga Swagga is our way of giving back to those who have supported our brands over the years, this is more than just a promotion but a celebration of life with Uganda’s finest spirits.

The #LagaSwagga promotion, a UBL promo, is a three-month nationwide campaign designed to reward loyal consumers of Uganda Waragi Premium, Coconut, Lemon and Ginger, V&A, Bond 7, and Gilbeys with substantial prizes.

Hillary urged consumers to continue participating to win prizes, including a weekly cash reward of up to UGX50 million. 

“I urge you all to continue participating to stand a chance to these cash prizes or enter our weekly raffle draw by simply purchasing any of the participating brands to get a unique code and SMS to 6688,” he said.

The televised weekly Laga Swagga raffle draws air every Thursday on NTV, NBS, and Bukedde TV, for all consumers to witness the weekly cash giveaways.

The Laga Swagga promotion reinforces UBL’s commitment to providing enjoyable experiences through its iconic brands while promoting responsible drinking. 

Baguma urged consumers to pace their drinks with water to stay hydrated, and eat before drinking and also the fact that participation is limited to those aged 18 and above.
