Remo Stars youngster, Shola Ogundana has joined Brazilian giants, Flamengo on a season-long loan deal with a chance to make it permanent.
The 18-year-old is the second Remo Stars player to move to a foreign club this season after Ebenezer Akinsanmiro joined Serie A giants, Inter Milan.
Ogundana was a player with Remo Stars’ U-19 side, Beyond Limits FA, before completing the move.
The winger will play for Flamengo’s U-20 side, and Remo Stars will receive $500,000 if the move is made permanent.
His blistering pace and an eye for the final ball endeared him to Flamengo.
The Vulture currently have veterans, David Luiz and Arturo Vidal in their ranks.
