Bendel Insurance kept its unbeaten streak in the Nigeria Premier Football League intact after battling Gombe United to a 0-0 draw at the Pantami Township Stadium on Sunday.

The Benin Arsenals are now unbeaten after 16 top-flight games this season.

Monday Odigie’s side are two games away from equaling the longest unbeaten streak (18) in the NPFL held by Akwa United.

Gombe United remain winless in two games with no chance of making the Super Six again.

In Maiduguri, Enyimba recorded the only away win of the day defeating El-Kanemi Warriors 1-0.

The People’s Elephant moved to second position on the Group A table and need just a win from the remaining two games to guarantee a place in the Super Six.

El-Kanemi Warriors remain at the bottom of the log and now need to win their remaining two games to escape relegation.

Group B leaders, Lobi Stars ended their two-game winless streak by claiming a 1-0 victory against Niger Tornadoes in Jos.

Francis Odinaka netted the winner three minutes after the break.
