Creatives including Gloria Bugie, Ritah Dancehall, Shakira Shakiraa, have joined Lil Pazo and Gravity Omutujju on UNCC’s list of artists under scrutiny over vulgar music and indecent exposure during public appearances.
The Uganda National Culture Centre continues to ensure it preserves, promotes, develops, and popularises Ugandan culture.
From a dialogue meeting on Monday chaired by Phina Mugerwa, UNCC decided that the above mentioned artists face scrutiny for vulgar music and indecent dressing during public appearances.
Despite being invited for the dialogue meeting, Gravity and Lil Pazo were absent without communication.
The dialogue which took place at the Uganda National Culture Centre was aimed at engaging the two Musicians namely Mr. Gereson Wabuyi aka Gravity Omutujju and Mr. Mukasa Yasin aka Lil Pazo Lunabe whose music content is considered inappropriate, obscene and vulgar causing public outcry to address this situation that is deteriorating every other day.
Unfortunately they did not turn up and no apologies were received officially.
UNCC has asked music promoters and events organisers to pay attention and “not to allow naughty obscene artists to appear on any public platforms when they are inappropriately dressed.”
