Kampala’s iconic nightclub, Club Guvnor, previously known as Ange Noir, has officially been put on the market by its owner, Charlie Lubega.
This announcement comes after months of speculation following the club’s recent closure.
Speaking at a business conference organized by the Private Sector Foundation Uganda (PSFU), Lubega confirmed the sale, inviting young entrepreneurs to seize the opportunity.
He emphasized that the nightclub is ready for a fresh start under new management as early as this December.
If there are any young entrepreneurs out there, interested in running a competitive nightlife business, Guvnor Uganda/ Ange Noir is up for sale.
The closure of Club Guvnor earlier this year sparked widespread rumors, but neither Lubega nor any staff members commented on its status until now.
Will a new owner bring back its former glory, or will Kampala’s nightlife take a fresh turn? Only time will tell.
