In July 2020, renowned media personalities Kasuku, real name Isaac Katende, and Sheilah Gashumba were involved in a social media wrangle.
The dispute arose after Gashumba launched an anti-cyberbullying campaign which Kasuku heavily criticised.
Sheilah Gashumba then attacked Kasuku noting how he had been one of the major culprits of cyberbullying. She further criticized him for wearing shorts on a TV set.
Like a woman scorned, Sheilah Gashumba then reminded Kasuku how she had sponsored his first lunch at the Kampala Serena Hotel, something that didn’t settle down well with most netizens.
“Kasuku should not be here talking about cyberbullying. I was the first person who took him for lunch at Serena Hotel. He had never gone there in his life. I paid for him to enjoy his favorite buffet,” Gashumba said in a video.
Their friendship hit an all-time low but they have since amended their differences slowly.
On Saturday night, the two shared the same space while at a local hangout in Kampala. In a series of videos shared on social media, Sheilah Gashumba is seen handing Kasuku a couple of dollar notes.
As soon as netizens landed on the videos, they immediately reminded Kasuku of how he once was shamed by Sheilah Gashumba and how it could happen again.
