Businessman and politician Mr. Jimmy Lukwago has revealed that he is the next Kira Municipality Member of Parliament (MP) and that nothing will stop him.
Jimmy Lukwago contested on NUP party ticket in 2021 but lost to the current MP Hon. Ibrahim Ssemujju Nganda but he is seriously coming back.
He assured this website that he is not backing up and will contest again in 2026 and take the seat.

This comes after rumours circulating from NUP circles that the party was planning on fronting Senior Counsel George Musisi as the flag bearer against Hon. Ssemujju.
