Music duo Hatim and Dokey have decided to part ways after five years of working together due to financial difficulties.

In an interview with Galaxy TV, Dokey shared that while they had heavily invested in their music, the returns were far from adequate.

He explained that most of the money they earned went back into covering production costs and paying their crew, leaving them in a constant state of financial strain.

We invested so much, but the income just couldn’t sustain us.

Dokey expressed his appreciation for the support they received over the years but pointed out that the love they were shown did not extend to the financial backing needed to sustain their music careers.

Interestingly, it was Hatim who initially suggested the split, recognizing the toll that the financial pressures were taking on their partnership.

While Dokey hoped their situation might improve, they have now agreed to go their separate ways. However, the duo assured fans that their parting is amicable, and they have not ruled out the possibility of reuniting in the future, should they secure better funding.
