Elijah Kitaka, one of Uganda’s emerging artists, opened up about why he hasn’t held a concert yet, despite his rising popularity.

According to Kitaka, hosting a concert is a milestone in an artist’s career, and he believes his journey has only just begun.

Kitaka emphasized that every artist’s path is unique, and the timing for such a major event varies. He referenced his colleague, Vinka, who is also signed under Swangz Avenue, the same record label.

Kitaka mentioned that when Vinka’s time comes to hold a concert, it will be evident that she has fully lived her musical journey.

As for Kitaka himself, he acknowledges that he is not yet ready to take on the challenge of a full-scale concert.

However, he is confident that he will reach that point in due time. For now, Kitaka is focused on building his fanbase, especially with his latest hit, “Dawa,” which is currently one of the top-trending songs in Uganda.
