Singer and Presidential Advisor on Ghetto Affairs Mark Bugembe a.k.a Buchaman claims he has been blocked from meeting President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni yet his promises to the ghetto youths remain unfulfilled.

While speaking to Sanyuka TV, Buchaman said that he has not met the fountain of honor in a long time because he is always blocked by the people around him, something that has frustrated him a lot.

We are often blocked but if Mzee wanted to see me, all it would take is a phone call. I take long without meeting him but if he wanted, anything, he would simply call me.

Buchaman further notes that the time he publicly threatened to leave the NRM party and join his former boss Bobi Wine in the National Unity Platform party, he was only making a strong statement.

He says that many people had approached him demanding for the president’s promises that he made during the campaigns to be fulfilled.

There was a lot of pressure from the public. People had demands for things that Mzee promised during the campaigns so I was only letting them know that I had not been given anything. After I spoke out, the president called ghetto youths at Kololo and gave them Shs1.2 billion.
