Nandor Love challenges Alien Skin to a music battle

Fast-rising singer and songwriter Nandor Love has challenged Fangone Forest boss Patrick Mulwana alias Alien Skin to a music battle.

The “Kinawolovu” singer dared Alien to a battle after he claimed that the music industry needs him the more than anybody else right now after he bragged that for the week he spent in prison no artist released a big song.

Alien also claimed that if there is any possibility to hold a musical battle with any artist, he needs to have a bunch of them on one side to take him on.

Immediately, Nandor Love chipped in and dared him to a battle saying she could single-handedly take him down on her own.

Alien then asked who would benefit the most if the two went head-to-head and thus requested that if he is to battle Nandor Love, a good sum of money must be paid to him to make it happen.

Eddie Sendi criticizes David Lutalo for dishonesty in music career

Renowned music critic Edward Sendikadiwa, commonly known as Eddie Sendi, has accused singer David Lutalo of not being honest.

The accusation comes to light after Lutalo reportedly fired manager Nasser from his duties following financial disagrements that happened after his recent concert as he celebrated 15 years in the showbiz industry.

Mr. Sendi claimed that Lutalo and Nasser have always had silent disagreements between themselves for the time they have worked together.

He defended Nasser saying he had borrowed money to run the concert activations and had to refund it immediately after the successful event.

Sendi has since advised Lutalo to keep his friends out of his business so that he can work smoothly and progress on with life.

Sendi further accused Lutalo of having previously fallen out with journalists until Nasser intervened.

Don Nasser seeks bail, argues unfair detention in aggravated trafficking case

Socialite Don Nasser, who is facing charges of aggravated trafficking in children and defilement, has petitioned the International Crimes Division of the High Court for bail.

Through his lawyers, Nasser cited his constitutional right to bail and emphasized the presumption of innocence as key grounds for his release.

Nasser, along with his co-accused Promise Ateete, argued that continued detention was unwarranted.

In his affidavit, he disclosed that he has been a resident of Kira Municipality for over eight years and operates businesses both locally and internationally.

He alleged that on September 20, 2024, while on a business trip to Nairobi, Kenya, he was unlawfully kidnapped and transported back to Uganda without due legal process.

He was detained at Kira Road Police Station for three days before being arraigned in the Chief Magistrate’s Court at Buganda Road on September 23, 2024. Following the court appearance, he was remanded to Luzira Prison, where he has been held for nearly two months.

Nasser’s lawyers argued that the judicial system’s “first in, first out” trial policy prioritizes older cases, making it unlikely that his case will be heard promptly. This delay, they claim, warrants his release on bail to avoid undue hardship.

The court is yet to decide on his application.

The singer who is out of prison on bail disclosed that he is in preparations and laying ground work to contest against long-term serving Ssalongo Erias Lukwago for the position of Kampala Lord Mayor come in the 2026 general elections.

I am still committed to my leadership aspirations, and I will soon launch my political plans. My fans should know that I really want to take up the position of Lord Mayor in Kampala.

Early this very month, Alien revealed how he had wanted to run for the position of the highest office in the land but claimed that Uganda’s elections don’t offer realistic and meaningful change in power.
