Veteran musician Ragga Dee, born Daniel Kazibwe, has shared some piece of advice for rising stars to consider when taking to the studio to record music.
In his submission, Ragga Dee implores upcoming artists to always first understand who their target audience is before deciding to work on any music project.
He went ahead to tip them that they should work with him experienced music producers and make research.
Ragga Dee advised that artists should learn to record music when the sound is on world-level taking Burna Boy as the example saying that it becomes easy for DJs to always give their songs airplay and for the music to be mixed in bars and clubs.
He added that Barna Boy’s music is played a lot because of the good sound that is clear and well balanced than other musicians.
You need to find your market. Secondly, you need to have music producers who research because if you don’t do research, your sound could let you down.
When your sound is world-level, it’s easy for the DJs to play and mix your songs among top hits. When you listen to Burna Boy’s music, they have a good sound, which is why people play his music a lot.
Some songs are not lyrically rich but when they sound, they feel the vibe because of the sound, clarity, bass, treble, and midrange.
