The High Court’s International Crimes Division has granted a cash bail of UGX 3 million to Kampala socialite and businessman Nasser Nduhukire, popularly known as Don Nasser.

Together with Promise Ateete, Nduhukire faces charges of aggravated child trafficking and defilement.

On Wednesday, presiding judge Andrew Bashaija extended a non-cash bond of UGX 50 million to each of Don Nasser’s four sureties.

The court also instructed the accused to surrender his passport to the registrar, restricting international travel unless expressly approved by the court.

The state alleges that between May 23, 2024, at locations including Acacia Avenue, Tagore Apartments, Mawanda Road in Kampala, and Kito Zone in Kira Municipality, Wakiso District, Nduhukire and Ateete exploited a 16-year-old girl for sexual purposes.
