At a press conference held on Tuesday, the Uganda Communications Commission (UCC) announced a suspension of Lil Pazo and Gravity Omutujju’s controversial songs.
The press conference was held to reveal decisions taken on vulgar music and public entertainment. The UCC Executive Director George William Nyombi Thembo announced the suspension of the songs.

Last week, the Uganda National Cultural Centre (UNCC) called for a ban on the songs and prohibited the artists from performing them.
The UCC ED also reminded stakeholders that in accordance with Stage Plays & Public Entertainment Act and regulations made there under, concert organisers are required to obtain permits from UCC.
