The recent appointment of singer Edriisa Musuuza alias Eddy Kenzo as the Senior Presidential Advisor on Creatives stirred a lot of mixed feelings among the netizens.
Some including Kira Municipality MP, Hon. Ibrahim Ssemujju Nganda, and Maria Matembe criticized President Museveni for appointing artists to government offices in an act they considered as a way of trying to neutralize NUP president, Bobi Wine.
When Mikie Wine was asked to share his opinion about the appointment of Eddy Kenzo to a government job, he congratulated him but maintained that it is too early to criticize him before even serving his people.
He asked all Eddy Kenzo critics to give him time saying the criticism should come in after a series of seeing his works.
I think it is too early to judge Eddy Kenzo about his role as the Presidential Advisor on Creatives. But I want to say, let’s wait and see how he will serve and then that will give us the chance to judge him properly. So far he is yet to start his works.
