Ugandan socialite Don Zella has asked netizens to stop bullying her on social media with statements criticizing her for bleaching her skin complexion.

Through a video, the mother of three noted that whenever she posts photos of herself online, people rush to the comment section and accuse her of bleaching.

She revealed that the dark patch on her face, just below her left eye, is a birthmark that she was born with.

I was born with this birthmark. If there’s anybody I should have blamed, it’s God. I was born with it and am okay with it. It’s part of me and it will be for the rest of my life. All my kind have the same birthmark just on different parts of the body.

She asked the critics to stop bullying and making her life uncomfortable.

I’m tired of people complaining; “Don Zella you bleached your face.” I wanna make this clear for the last time. Let people be, leave people alone. If somebody has not insulted you, leave them alone. Stop being bullies on social media.
