Insiders close to the National Unity Platform (NUP) have intimated to us that the party is planning on fronting Counsel George Musisi as their candidate for Kira Municipality MP seat come 2026.
The NUP hierarchy see George Musisi as the perfect candidate to battle and take the seat away from FDC’s Hon. Ibrahim Ssemujju Nganda.
George Musisi is a lawyer for NUP who has always battled well their cases in court and he is seen as the right person to push forward the party’s Kira Municipality agenda.
Apart from counsel duties, Mr. Musisi currently works as the head of Laity for St. Joseph’s Church of Uganda Bulindo.
