The State Minister for Relief, Refugees and Disaster Preparedness who also doubles as the Woman MP for Kitgum District, Hon. Lillian Aber, has pledged more support to those at the grassroot level in Kitgum.
The Minister said this while engaging with her voters in Labongo Layamo Sub County in Kitgum district today.
In line with her commitment to economic empowerment, she extended financial support to several VSLA SACCO groups, as has always been the norm.
She called on the supporters to embrace government programs and opportunities that come across.
“Today, I engaged with my voters in Labongo Layamo Sub County, Kitgum District. In line with my commitment to economic empowerment, I extended financial support to several VSLA SACCO groups, as has always been the norm. We also discussed various opportunities available in government programs such as the Parish Development Model (PDM), the GROW project, and agriculture initiatives. As I continue to pledge my support to those at the grassroots, I encouraged our people to fully embrace and make the most of these government interventions and opportunities,” Hon. Lillian Aber said after the engagement.
