Singer Alien Skin has been granted bail a Ugx1M cash bail in the case in which he was accused of stealing an iPhone 15 Pro Max and cash from Salim Mubiru in Makindye in September.

Alien Skin was accused of assault and theft of an iPhone 15 from Salim Mubiru at H&M restaurant, a case he reportedly committed in September in Makindye.

In a court session held today morning at Makindye Magistrates Court, the judge revealed that the complainant withdrew the case and opted to settle the matter amicably with the accused.

She also revealed that the sureties presented by Alien Skin’s legal team were substantial and that both the accused and complainant could go ahead to resolve the matter outside court.

Conditions for bail; including the accused not leaving the country without the permission of the court, have been set. Sureties have also expected to pay Ugx3M.

Alien Skin is expected to return to court for the official ruling on the matter on 13th January 2025.
